It's a cheap way for us to stay cool, we have on air conditioner in the front room of our apartment. And we only have enough money to live. I don't care about it looking tacky, is it really a signal that you sell drugs? I live in Upland California. =/ lol... I hope not. Yeah my husband works night shift too, and we sleep in the living room because it is cooler. So there is a large window and it gets very hot and very sunny...
